Participate in the transportation survey from the Nashua Regional Planning Commission.

You want to get to where you are going in the best way possible, and the local planning commission is looking to help.

The Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) wants you to participate in their Transportation Needs survey so they can identify and define Amherst and the region's critical transportation needs. The results of this survey will have a direct impact on transportation projects in the region, the State's 10-year transportation plan and federal transportation funding.

Since its formation in 1959, NRPC has provided its members with comprehensive solutions to local environmental, land use, transportation, and regional planning issues as well as cutting edge mapping & data services. It serveds the towns of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Lyndeborough, Mason, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua, Pelham and Wilton.

The NRPC is currently updating the long range Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) for the Nashua Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) area. The MTP update will assess needs related to all modes of surface transportation within the 13-community region, including driving, bicycling, walking, rail and bus transit, and rail and truck freight, for the period covering 2013 - 2040.
