Selectmen Finalize Budget
Selectmen made their final changes to their FY13 budget at their meeting Tuesday.

Amherst residents will vote on an $11,088,416 operating budget for the next fiscal year.
Selectmen made their finishing touches on the budget during their meeting this week. The board decided to backtrack on from the town’s contingency fund.
They had also voted to remove $10,000 in funding for health & human services agencies at their last meeting, which was cut another $1,750 this week. The board also looked into acquiring funding for these agencies through warrant articles.
