Shea-Porter and Kuster show hyper-partisan colors in shutdown votes

In Washington, House Republicans are offering individual funding bills to open up parts of the government one-by-one. While many Democrats are joining in this effort, Annie Kuster and Carol Shea-Porter only voted yes on one funding bill - to award back pay to federal workers.

Here is what they voted against:

Funding for Women, Infant, and Children nutrition benefits.

Funding for the National Institute of Health.

Funding for disaster relief.

Funding for veterans benefits.

Funding to open the national parks.

Funding for the National Guard.

Funding for food safety and inspections.

So here is a very simple questions for Carol Shea-Porter and Annie Kuster - why vote for backpay to federal employees but against all of the other bills to fund the government?

It's a fair question.
