Snow Causing Crashes Across NH

The rain has turned to snow in many areas, making for a messy evening commute.

As the rain starts to turn into snow, emergency crews are being called to numerous crashes across Southern New Hampshire.

Shortly after 4 p.m., an accident was reported on Interstate 93 north in Londonderry, just before Exit 4. The left lane was closed for almost an hour as police and fire crews worked to clear the scene.

Crashes have also been reported on Main Street in Plaistow, I-93 in Sanbornton and Interstate 293 and Route 101 in Bedford in the last hour alone.

Just minutes ago, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Raymond Road in Chester, with five patients – three of them trapped in the vehicle. A rollover was also just reported on Interstate 95 south in Greenland.

At this hour there are about 400 customers without power in New Hampshire, none of them in the southern part of the state.
