Each week, the Souhegan baseball team names a Player of the Week.
In addition to demonstrating outstanding baseball skills in practices and games, the individual is a role model on and off the baseball field.

The fifth PLAYER OF THE WEEK for the 2012 season was presented to Tim Beliveau. Tim is a senior, firstbaseman.
During the past week, Tim batted .419 (3 for 7). In the Milford game, Tim started the Souhegan scoring with a solo home run to put the Sabers up 1-0.

In the top of the seventh, Tim hit his second solo home run of the day to straight away center field to tie the game at 3-3 before the Sabers completed the comeback with another seventh inning run. In the Con-Val contest, Tim's lead off double led a second inning rally.
In addition to his bat, Tim works daily on his defensive play to strength the over all team defense.
Tim is an individual who is a team leader who demonstrates his desire for the team's success by his work ethic and positive approach to everything he does on and off the field.
