Souhegan Baseball: Player Of The Week

Each week, the Souhegan baseball team names a Player of the Week.  In addition to demonstrating outstanding baseball skills in practices and games, the individual is a role model on and off the baseball field. 

The eighth PLAYER OF THE WEEK for the 2012 season was presented to Tyler Ford. Tyler is a junior, shortstop.

During the past week, Tyler has solidified the Souhegan infield with hi strong play at shortstop. His play has been very consistent at shortstop and has brought the play of the team defense to a higher level. 

At the plate, Tyler gives the team a quality at bat in every time at the plate.  He competes with the pitcher and never gives in.

Tyler brings a workman's approach to the game. He plays to his highest level in each pitch whether it be on defense or at the plate. His blue collar style spreads throughout the team.
