Souhegan Baseball: Player Of The Week

Each week, the Souhegan baseball team names a Player of the Week. 

In addition to demonstrating outstanding baseball skills in practices and games, the individual is a role model on and off the baseball field.

The fourth PLAYER OF THE WEEK for the 2012 season was presented to Chris Chininis.  Chris is a senior, centerfield and lead off hitter.

Chris is an outstanding defensive centerfield who utilizes his speed to turn doubles into fly ball outs resting in his glove.  As the lead off hitter, Chris starts the Sabers offense. 

In the first two games of the season, Chris batter .667 (4 for 6), was hit twice, stole three bases and scored three runs.

He brings his supportive leadership to the field each day to help the team move toward its goal of qualifying for the Division II post season tournament.
