Souhegan Baseball: Player Of The Week

Each week, the Souhegan baseball team names a Player of the Week.

In addition to demonstrating outstanding baseball skills in practices and games, the individual is a role model on and off the baseball field.  The ninth PLAYER OF THE WEEK for the 2012 season was presented to Seth Learned.

Seth is a freshmen, shortstop / secondbaseman. During the past week, Seth continues to be one of Souhegan's top offensive weapons.  Seth bats in the middle of the order and is about the leaders in batting average, on base percentage, runs scored and runs driven in.

He has been a strong member of the Souhegan infield with his strong arm and consistent glove. Seth has been an important part of the Sabers this Spring. His consistent play has been instrumental in the Souhegan journey to qualify for the state tournament.

He approaches every game with a determination to assist the team in any way he can. He puts his teammates and the team successes before himself at all times.
