Lucky Shoe Magnets is a company that creates jewelry with magnetic backings so that the wearer doesn’t have to put pinholes through their clothes- a great alternative to regular broaches or safety pins. Startup Rounds is a competition that started out with seventy-seven of Babson College’s undergraduate, graduate, and alumni startups to qualify for funding and resources. This competition has spanned over the past three weeks (each week being a round) and ventures are judged on how much support they can get to gain high markings on the leaderboard. If ventures survive through to the end of Round 4 (this week’s current round), then they will be invited to pitch their ideas at a final awards ceremony to receive their cash prizes and resources.

“Lucky Shoe Magnets was founded in the summer of 2013, and has been providing a fashionable and durable way to add style to your attire ever since. Our products provide a great new way to fasten on everything from badges to stylish accents. By using magnets instead of traditional pins, flare can be added to those items that traditional pins destroy. Now fancy scarves, leather jackets, and silk shirts can sparkle, and your competition numbers at sporting events can shine. Lucky Shoe Magnets embodies the wearer’s individuality and creativity through the toughest parts of the day.”
