Souhegan Sabers Dominate Knights 11-1

Yesterday's victory comes right after a 5-16 defeat to Bedford High School.

The Souhegan Sabers defeated the Kingswood Knights 11 to 1 to even their record at 1 win and 1 loss.

Freshmen, righty Ben Osterholtz threw a complete game, four hitter - allowing one run, striking out three and walking one batter.

The Souhegan defense was led by junior secondbaseman Tyler Ford.  Tyler played outstanding at second base with three assists, starting an inning ending double play in the second inning and made a sensational catch of a fly ball in the fourth inning.

The Sabers registered twelve hits and added three walks to plate eleven runs.  Souhegan had four hitters with multiple hits ...Tyler Ford had 3 hits in 4 at bats and scored 3 runs, Robert Graham was 2 for 3, scored two runs and added 2 rbi and Eric Howard was 2 for 3 and scored two runs with one stolen base.
