Souhegan Valley Chorus Presents Spring Concert
Come enjoy Comedy Tonight- An Evening With Souhegan Valley Chorus and Rachel Cerullo
Souhegan Valley Chorus will present their spring concert “Comedy Tonight”—An Evening with Souhegan Valley Chorus and Rachel Cerullo on May 14th at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts in Milford, NH at 7pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and available online (souheganvalleychorus.org), at Toadstool Bookshop or at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
Rachel Cerullo is an actress known for her role as Frau Blucher in Actorsingers Fall 2014 production of “Young Frankenstein.” The concert will feature songs such as “Deaf Old Woman,” “Lydia The Tattooed Lady,” “Waters Ripple and Flow,” and Josh Groban's well-known piece “You Raise Me Up.” Kimberly Vars Whitehead accompanies the chorus, which comprises 70 people from Amherst, Milford and other surrounding local towns.
Director Jennifer Kennedy Erdody said in a recent interview, “I'm very excited for this performance! In addition to some very funny choral songs, we are happy to have Rachel Cerullo joining us. She won the New Hampshire Theater Award for best actress; she's hilarious!” She went on to say, “Our first act will feature more traditional choral music centered around the spring season. The Souhegan High School A Cappella Singers will also be featured. Don't miss this concert!”
