Strong Rain on the Way

New Hampshire is about to get hit with some strong rainstorms, according to forecasters.

The wave of storms that hit the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic states is about to hit the Granite State in the very near future, according to weather alerts.

The showers are expected to last through the early morning hours on Thursday with strong winds and possible power outages. Expect chilly temps tomorrow morning, too.

Right now, at just past 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, there are scattered power outages reported in Amherst, Derry, Manchester, Merrimack, and Milford, as well as Brentwood and Hampton over on the Seacoast, according to Unitil and Eversource.

A number of reports on Twitter have stated that many flights that are coming into Manchester and Logan airports were very turbulent, with passengers complaining of nausea and injuries.

Tomorrow morning, some rain may hang around in the late morning hours and then, it’s expected to clear up.
