Annual Student Art Show Coming to Amherst Town Library

More than 400 works of art will be placed throughout Amherst Town Library in the annual Student Art Show from May 5 through May 31.

Young artists from the four Amherst public schools will present their works on walls and display cases, according to The Friends of the Amherst Town Library.

The art will include watercolors, oils, pastels, photographs, pen and pencil drawings, furniture, fabric creations, collages, masks and sculptures. 

There is a reception for the students and families scheduled for Mother's Day, May 13, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., according to the library.
