Swing State NH: Presidential Race Pivots on Handful of States

New Hampshire is a swing state again in 2012, evidenced by the attention President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are already giving to the Granite State.

The New York Times today, in its analysis of the contest, puts New Hampshie among nine swing states.

The swing state challenge of 2012 was a topic this morning on WMUR's "CloseUp," too.

"We are still a battleground state," vetera political observer Michael Dennehy said on the "CloseUp" roundtable discussion of New Hampshire politics.
