Op-Ed: Take a Stand for Tax Relief

I write to encourage everyone to contact your legislators in Washington to pass the new tax reduction plan that the Congress proposes.

Our legislature in Concord has shown the way by lessening the Business tax burdens on small businesses, allowing them to grow; hire more employees; and help the North Country.

As a former small business owner, I know how dramatically that can effect a business.

Now, as a senior, that bottom line seems even more imperative. We seniors, are captive by fixed income, mounting prices, and unfair taxes (death tax, I&D taxes, and all sorts of regulatory taxes that raise the price of business products).

Take a stand for lower taxes.
