Town Officer Positions Open

Want to see some changes in your town? Consider becoming involved by filing your candidacy for one of the open positions this year.

Candidates need to file at the town clerks office during regular business hours. The office is open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. during the week and 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings.

The deadline to file for these positions is Friday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m.

TOWN OFFICE POSITIONS OPEN THIS YEAR

2 Selectmen for 3 years

2 Library Trustees for 3 years

1 Cemetary Trustee for 3 years

2 Zoning Board of Adjustment Members for 3 years

1 Trustee of the Trust Funds for 3 years

1 Moderator for 2 years

1 Supervisor of the Checklist for 6 years

1 Treasurer for 3 years

The Town of Amherst's deliberative session will be Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in Souhegan Cooperative High School. 

Voting will take place on Tuesday, March 13 at Souhegan Cooperative High School from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
