Two More Fugitives Are Off the Streets

Henry Devine surrendered to probation in Concord today; Jacob Brown, a two-time fugitive, was caught in Maine.

Two more New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force fugitives are off the streets today thanks for tipsters who viewed the Fugitive of the Week posts and alerts.

Henry Devine surrendered to the U.S. Probation Department earlier today after hearing about his photo and information included in news reports, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.

Devine was wanted for supervised release violation from a federal warrant issued last week.

“Devine reported that he was contacted this morning by family members that had seen Devine featured as the Fugitive of the Week,” White stated. “Devine immediately contacted his probation officer and agreed to turn himself in and did that this morning.”

He is being held at the U.S. District Courthouse in Concord.

In Berwick, ME, another fugitive, Jacob Brown, 24, was caught this morning, without incident, inside an apartment building on Sullivan Street.

Brown was featured in May 2015, when he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for violations of conditions of supervised release. He was on supervised release as a result of his conviction and sentence for his role in a 2010 Farmington bank robbery.

Brown had previously been featured as the Fugitive of the Week back in March of 2014 for a similar supervised release violation, after he fled from a residential substance abuse treatment facility, according to White. He, too, is also being held at the U.S. District Courthouse.
