VIDEO: Citizens Stand For Their Side

We talked to political sign holders and protesters who were out at the polls in Amherst today.

The candidates have a key portion of their army out in force today: the sign holders.

Of course, no voting day is complete without protesters.

We found a little of both here at Souhegan High School as Amherst residents cast their vote in the New Hampshie Presidential Primary.

A small group of sign holders were pumped to stand in support for their candidate, some of them beginning as early as 6 a.m.

Supporters represented Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. No signs could be found for Rick Perry, Buddy Roemer, Fred Karger or any other Republican candidate this afternoon.

Two of the supporters we talked to were sophomores at Souhegan High and were excited to be involved in the political process.

Members of Occupy The New Hampshire Primary handed out documents promoting DemocracyorEmpire.org which were titled "Ballot on America's Future."

One of the "occupiers" said that he mostly faced indifference from voters as they passed by.
