Senior Budget/Reimbursement Analyst

Description: Responsible for the timely filing of the Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare/Martin's Point cost reports for Catholic Medical Center and sub-providers, in conjunction with federal/state rules and regulations. Models and polices contracts for the Catholic Medical Center Healthcare System, including subsidiaries and physician practices. Responsible for maintaining the EPSI and Reimbursement Manager systems, including uploading and imputing federal and commercial reimbursement information to estimate accurate payments. Responsible for payment validation including, monitoring payments received from all third party payors, assuring they conform to terms and conditions of contracts. Researches and coordinates billing corrections as necessary to reconcile provider expected DRG payments versus intermediary actual DRG payments. Responsible for maintaining schedules to support third party settlements for managed care and federal programs. Including monitoring and recording transactions with related parties. Maintains accurate fiscal year-end reports including audit work papers, third party settlement account analysis and cost report filing. Prepares monthly contractual allowance, bad debt and free care calculations for Catholic Medical Center Healthcare System.
