WATCH: Souhegan's Fight Song

We're the mighty mighty Sabers!

Souhegan High School has a new fight song that was unveiled at their Fang Fest 2012 celebration last month.

The song lyrics were chosen in contest hosted by Community Council, and were written by Christina Len. It is sung to the tune of the University of Oregon's school song, “Mighty Oregon."

Len is a technology staff member at the high school who has had two children graduate from Souhegan. She also has two other children attend SAU 39 schools.

The full song lyrics are as follows:

We're the mighty mighty Sabers and

our blood runs black and gold.

We're the mighty mighty Sabers

and Souhegan is our home.

We have come to claim a victory

Never giving up the fight.

We're the mighty mighty Sabers
