Where Is My Refund?

Wondering when you will be getting your tax refund?

The Internet Revenue Service has a tool to check your refund status and find out.

You will need to have your information on your refund amount, filing status and your Social Security number.

The IRS will usually have information about your refund 72 hours after IRS acknowledges receipt of your e-filed return, or three to four weeks after mailing a paper return. Check back weekly, on Wednesdays, for any updates to your refund information.

Taxpayers should be wary of phishing scams that will try and attain their personal information for illegal use. The IRS does not initiate contact with taxpayers by email to request personal or financial information. More information can be found here.
