Which Town Department Is Most Important?

The Board of Selectmen went through another round of departmental reviews last night as they prepare to put together a budget for the next fiscal year.

Each department contributes to the community in some way, but you may see more value in one over the others.

The truth is that some town departments will get less funding than they need due to the economic downturn. For some that is a good thing and will force them to become more efficient, for others they see the increased costs that will come without current investments.
