WINNER: Readers' Choice is Frederick's Pastries

Frederick's has a long reputation of offering delicious desserts and quality cakes. Their focus is maintaining their favorite recipes, while constantly looking for new confections to delight customers.

Have you tried their Purple Velvet Cupcakes? Then you know what I am talking about. It is also the owner's favorite dessert, which we found out in with her.

 and Frederick's were neck and neck for most of the week, but Frederick's came out on top in a final push from voters with 71 votes. (plus one bonus vote in the comments)

The ice cream and sweets business ended with 36 votes, but got an extra boost with five bonus votes from the comments.  and  tied for third place, including an extra bonus vote from the comments.

I have had a chance to sample something from each of these businesses, being the food-obsessed person that I am. They all have something special about them that tempts me to no end when those sweet cravings come into play.

The fourth category in our tournament will be looking to find the best consignment shop in town. Come back Monday to start voting!
