Winship of First Colebrook Bank to Retire
CFO will end 44-year career in New Hampshire banking in September.
First Colebrook Bank announces the retirement of Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Peter H. Winship after a distinguished, successful 44-year career in New Hampshire banking. Winship will retire effective Sept. 30. He will remain active as a consultant.
Peter H. Winship joined First Colebrook Bank as Chief Financial Officer in 2008. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Bow Mills Bank and Trust for 16 years.
“We have been very fortunate to have Peter serve as CFO. His experience and knowledge in finance and management have been very beneficial to First Colebrook Bank,” said Loyd W. Dollins, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Colebrook Bank.

During his time at First Colebrook Bank and throughout his career, Winship has shared First Colebrook Bank’s long-standing tradition and belief in maintaining a strong connection to its local New Hampshire communities. Winship is a committed and active community civic volunteer in the greater Concord area.
He is past president of the Bow Rotary Club, past chairman of the Bow Economic Development Corporation and has served in numerous community not-for-profit organizations. Winship co-chaired the Greater Concord Chapter of the American Red Cross’s Capital Fund Drive that successfully completed construction of a new headquarters building. He is a past chairman of the Community Bankers Association of New Hampshire and has served as a director of the New Hampshire Bankers Association and the Independent Community Bankers Association as New Hampshire’s director representative.

Winship holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of New Hampshire, and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers.
