The YMCA of
Greater Nashua’s Healthy Kids Day takes place at The Nashua YMCA from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and features fun, active play and educational activities, such as Zumba and dance demonstrations, sports, games and outdoor
challenges. The Merrimack Police Department and Merrimack Fire Department will
be on hand to chat with families. Additionally, Granite State Clowns will be
doing face painting and making balloon animals, Bazzani Chiropractic, My
Orthodontist, Southern New Hampshire Lead Outreach Program, and other community
organizations will have tables. There will be a Teddy Bear Clinic hosted by
Nashua South High School’s Allied Health students. Children are encouraged to
bring their teddy bear or doll for a quick check-up!
This free community event to inspire more kids to
keep their minds and bodies active.
YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative to improve families’
health and well-being, features games, exhibits, arts and crafts, sports
activities and challenges to motivate and teach families how to develop a
healthy routine at home.
