MANCHESTER, NH — Queen City police arrested 10 people on Saturday, including five teenagers, on felony riot charges after a melee in Manchester.
Police received a report about two women being treated for stab wounds at Elliot Hospital around 6 p.m. and went sent to investigate. While speaking with the women, they determined they were injured during the same incident — a fight during a large gathering in the area of Auburn and Cedar streets.
At the gathering, two men were fighting, and it escalated with “multiple people” becoming involved, Heather Hamel, a public information officer for the Manchester Police Department, said on Sunday. One woman, Angelina Marie Gagne, 19, of Manchester, was accused of swinging a hatchet at others and cutting two.
