3 Injured at After Car Explosion Near NH Gas Plant: Reports

Updated: An explosion near a building was reported at the Matheson Plant on South Willow Street on April 10.

MANCHESTER, NH — At least three people were injured after a vehicle exploded near a gas and wielding facility on South Willow Street in Manchester, according to reports online. The vehicle explosion was reported at the Matheson Plant facility on South Willow Street at just before 10:30 a.m. on April 10, 2017.


According to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, the vehicle pulled up to a loading dock with acetylene tanks and when a person hit the trunk release, the vehicle exploded. The driver and other workers were reported injured and transported to a local hospital.
