2. RUN! Where my dogs at? Well, this weekend they're at the third-annual "My Dogs Are Barking" 5K fun run, which takes place at the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill on Sunday. Get complete information on the race here.
3. Pumpkin Festival! The annual Milford Pumpkin Festival is back again this year with even more in store for you this weekend. They have a motorcycle show on Friday, as well as beer, winer and spirits tasting on Saturday. They have fireworks to light up the sky after the Pumkin Runner lights up the pumpkins Friday night. Why not chuck some pumpkins, or go on a haunted trail? There is too much to list here, so visit their website for more information.

4. The Craftworkers’ Guild harvests for the fall. Beginning last week, and running through Monday, Oct. 8, the Craftworkers' Guild, located at the Kendall House behind the Bedford Public Library, will be open daily from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. For more information, click here.
5. Saaaaaaailing. Christopher Cross will be at the Palace Theater in Manchester Friday night. Cross, one of the biggest musical icons of 1980, virtually defined adult contemporary radio with a series of smoothly sophisticated ballads. His self titled debut album with the lead single, “Ride Like the Wind,” and other Top 20 hits, “Never Be the Same,” “Say You’ll Be Mine,” ”Arthur’s Theme” and of course, “Sailing,” put him on track to walk off with an unprecedented and record-setting five Grammy® awards in 1981. Over the last three decades he has recorded eight albums. Some consider the latest one, Doctor Faith, to be Christopher’s finest work to date. See him one night only on the Palace stage!
