1. One Down, One To Go. The Bedford School District held its annual at Bedford High School, where no articles were amended and there was little-to-no discussion on eight of 10 warrant articles. The Bedford Town Budgetary Meeting is yet to come. That meeting is scheduled for March 7, at 7 p.m. in the same location.
2. Shorty's Offering Fundraising Opportunity. If your non-profit orginization, sports team or charity wants a fun and easy way to raise some money, book a "Fair-Share" at Shorty's Grill and 15 percent of the total of food sales of customers who are at the restaurant to support your orginization will go toward your cause.
3. And Yet More Sun, Still - Like yesterday and the day before, Weather.com is reporting the skies will offer plenty of sunshine today. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, falling to a high of 38 degrees in Bedford, but the chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

4. Local Achievements of the Day. Kyle Robert Nutter of Bedford has been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the fall 2011 semester. Nutter is majoring in Packaging Science.
