Bulldogs snag another! Less than a week after the Bedford High School boys tennis team completed its third-straight state championship run, the BHS boys lacrosse team captures its first Division II title with a 12-4 win over St. Thomas Aquinas last night at Exeter High School. I think that deserves a resounding, WOOT!

2. On other sports-related notes ... The 12th-seeded Bedford High School softball team, which upset No. 5 Coe-Brown Northwood in the first round to reach the D-II quarterfinals, fell last night at fourth-seeded Portsmouth, 6-5. Today, the No. 5-ranked BHS baseball team travels to Durham where the Bulldogs look to defeat top-seed St. Thomas Aquinas in semifinal action.
