Adams Launches Bid for Executive Councilor in District 4

Pittsfield executive and veteran is running for seat representing Bedford, Londonderry, and other communities in central New Hampshire.

CONCORD, NH - Accompanied by former Executive Councilor Ray Wieczorek, Merrimack County Sheriff Scott Hilliard, his wife Sandra, and granddaughter Miss Maeve Margret, Jim Adams of Pittsfield filed to run for a seat on the Governor's Executive Council in District 4, according to a press statement.

"I believe I possess the necessary qualities to be an effective and accountable Councilor," said Adams, adding that wanted "to see our government be more accountable, transparent and taxpayer friendly." 

With more than 27 years of executive experience in which he helped save ratepayers $14 billion through honest and effcient budgeting, Adams said he believed he was the best person for the job.

Adams, who served as chief of staff to three Postmaster Generals and ended his career as District Manager of NH, Maine, and VT.,  is also a U.S. Navy (Viet Nam) veteran. He is a devoted husband and family man with six children and 10 grandchildren. He believes these intangible experiences helped build the character and conviction needed to be a successful public servant.

The District 4 seats represents the cities and towns of Allenstown, Auburn, Barrington, Bedford, Bow, Candia, Chichester, Deerfield, Epsom, Goffstown, Hooksett, Lee, Londonderry, Loudon, Northwood, Nottingham, Pembroke, Pittsfield, and Manchester. His website is jimadams.org
