Alzheimer Caregiver Support Group Leader Basic Training

The Basic Training seminar is designed for professionals and former family caregivers who want to become facilitators for Alzheimer caregiver support groups. You need to take this training before we can list your support group. ***** The program focuses on the fundamentals of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, group dynamics, special problems and concerns in Alzheimer caregiver groups, group management and promotion, and group leader roles and responsibilities. ***** Cost is $100 per person or $50 per person for non-profits. ***** Pre-registration is required at www.alzmass.org/sgl.
