• Bill to increase turnpike toll for non-residents gains momentum (keenesentinel.com) — Bedford drivers should know lawmakers are advancing a bill to double turnpike tolls for out-of-state drivers at the Bedford plaza, aiming to raise about $50 million a year for road projects. The measure has strong bipartisan support despite opposition from Gov. Kelly Ayotte, and would also increase non-resident tolls in Hooksett, Hampton, Dover, and Rochester.
