Emma Flynn, a Derryfield graduate, shares how she nearly became a nurse before chasing her musical theater dream and now tackles the show’s demanding lead role eight times a week.    

• In latest proposal, state would cap number of open enrollment students (nhpr.org) — A new proposal at the State House would cap how many students can attend schools outside their home district under a universal open enrollment plan, starting with 500 statewide. Bedford Rep. Kristin Noble is leading the amendment, which could affect where local families may send their children beginning in the 2027-28 school year if it passes.
