• Millennium Running acquires Reach the Beach Relay, prepares for 2027 return (pressnewsagency.org) — From its Bedford headquarters, Millennium Running has taken over the Reach the Beach Relay and will cover unpaid obligations from the previous organizer, but the 2026 race is canceled and pushed to 2027. Registered teams will get guaranteed entry next year and further details soon, while state leaders welcome the race's long-term return to New Hampshire.
   

• Officers justified in shooting at Raymond man, AG says (unionleader.com) — A Bedford police officer was among several from multiple departments found legally justified in returning fire during an April standoff with an armed Raymond man who later died from a self-inflicted gunshot. The state Attorney General's Office detailed how officers came under repeated fire while trying to arrest the suspect, who had earlier shot at relatives and wounded a Nottingham officer.
