Bedford Martial Arts is pleased to announce and congratulate six students who received their Junior Black Belt on May 11, 2013. In order for the students to receive their black belt, they had to put in several years of training, provide several hours of community service at a local organization, and go through an intense 3-day belt test. The belt test consisted of technical applications, physical fitness requirements, sparring, grappling, weapons, and most importantly motivation, dedication and determination. Black Belts at Bedford Martial Arts Academy are required to be leaders in their community, and achieve that through multiple commitments. They are required to maintain honor roll status at their respective schools, and are required to dedicate themselves to helping others. We are proud of their accomplishment and hard work, and look forward to seeing their future successes. Pictured are Bedford Martial Arts Academy Black Belt Recipients with their Instructors.
