Bank Robber Receives 46-Months Prison Sentence

Jonathan Faucher, a Manchester man who robbed a bank and attempted to rob a 7-Eleven in the Queen City last year, is heading to jail.

CONCORD, NH — A Queen City man was sentenced on July 20, 2017, to nearly four years in prison after robbing a bank and attempting to rob a store last fall in Manchester, according to the U.S. District Court. Jonathan Faucher, 39, of Manchester, received the 46-months sentence after pleading guilty in March to brandishing a box cutter at a 7-Eleven on Maple Street in Manchester on Sept. 28, 2016. He told a clerk to “give me all the money if you don’t want to get hurt” and the clerk responded by pulling a pizza cutter on Faucher – who then fled the area.

On Oct. 3, 2016, Faucher robbed the TD Bank location on Franklin Street in Manchester, claiming to have a gun. A bank teller gave him $600 and he fled. However, police caught him just a few blocks from the bank.
