Bank founded by Bill Grenier of Bedford is only the second bank chartered in the United States since 2010.

Bank Commissioner Glenn A. Perlow has signed the Certificate to Transact Business, the final authorization, to allow New Hampshire state-chartered Primary Bank to begin business operations on July 28, 2015, according to a press statement.

Primary Bank is only the second bank chartered in the United States since 2010. The company was founded by Bedford real estate developer Bill Grenier.

“I am so pleased that the founders of Primary Bank chose to locate in New Hampshire,” Perlow said. “ It is a real testament to the improving state economy and the entrepreneurial spirit of New Hampshire citizens. “Primary Bank joins a number of other excellent state-based financial institutions serving New Hampshire business and consumers.”
