Bedford Bulldogs Athletic Booster Club Awards Scholarships

At the annual Bedford Senior Scholarship Reception in June, the Bedford Bulldogs Athletic Booster Club (BBABC) was proud to award scholarships to graduating Bedford High School athletes.

Mary Beyer presented the Rich Beyer Memorial Scholarship of $1000 each to Thomas Norfleet and Victoria Pratt. This scholarship was established by the Beyer family and is maintained by the BBABC as a way to honor long-time Bedford resident and youth athletic enthusiast Rich Beyer. Thomas and Victoria both epitomize outstanding character, dedication, team spirit, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship as athletes.

Carolyn Dyrvik, President of the BBABC, presented the Bedford Bulldogs Athletic Booster Club Scholarship of $750 each to Connor Keiffer and Emily O’Keefe. This scholarship is awarded to athletes who have participated in at least two years of interscholastic sports, including club sports, and whose parent or guardian is a booster club member. In addition to Connor’s and Emily’s athletic participation at Bedford High School and in the community, their essays describing “Their Most Memorable Athletic Experience at BHS” were exemplary.
