Bedford Credit Card Suspects Sought

Breaking: Police are asking for the public's help IDing two women who allegedly rang up more than $1,800 in illegal gift card purchases.

BEDFORD, NH — Investigators inside the Bedford Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects that they believe are involved in a credit card fraud case at Hannaford earlier this month. According to an alert, on July 4, 2016, a local woman filed a complaint with police about alleged purchases she didn't make on her credit card.

The victim’s credit card number was reportedly used at Hannaford on Kilton Road on July 1, to purchase four gift cards totaling $1,820.55. The card’s number was allegedly duplicated, according to Chief John Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department.

“Police obtained the still photo, above, from surveillance at the supermarket,” according to Bryfonski. “The two suspects appear to be sisters, even twins, and have similar features. They were seen purchasing four gift cards.”
