Bedford Cub Scout Pack 5 holds first Pack Meeting of the 2016-2017 year

Bedford Cub Scout Pack 5, held its first Pack Meeting of the 2016-2017 year at McKelvie Middle School on Thursday, September 15th, 2016. The meeting started off with a huge welcome from the Cubmaster, J. Corey Wright, to both new and returning Cub Scouts and their families. Several scouts followed by sharing their thoughts on the best activities they did during Resident Camp at Camp Carpenter, in Manchester, NH this past summer. The Pack then learned about exciting and upcoming scouting events including the Fall Family camping trip held by Daniel Webster Council of the Boy Scouts of America, a Haunted Hayride and the Pack's annual Popcorn fundraising initiative. Afterwards, the Cub Scouts worked together to build spaghetti-marshmallow towers and finished up their night enjoying a visit from Curious Creatures. The meeting was an awesome start for Pack 5's Cub Scouting year!
