Bedford Firemens Ball!

The Bedford Firefighters Association is holding the 76th annual Firemen’s Ball at the Manchester Country Club Friday May 15th. The event is a fundraiser for the Scholarship and Rescue funds for the Bedford Firefighters Association.
The ball has been in Bedford starting in 1939 in the days of the Carousel Ball Room (now, where Wal-mart and Hannaford are located) and moved to a few locations but has found a home at the Manchester Country Club. In years past, the event has been a focal point of the community and the fire department to gather to support purchasing equipment for the department. The Association still provides fundraising efforts to support the rescue fund and scholarship program which has raised over $100,000. in scholarship money for graduating senior high school graduates from Bedford. The Association has purchased numerous medical and rescue equipment purchases to help save the residents of Bedford and maintain firefighter safety.
At sit down dinner is served at the newly renovated Manchester Country Club and dancing to the music of The Chad LaMarsh Band
Social hour at 6:00 PM and Dinner at 7:00 PM, Dancing at 8:00 PM until midnight.
This is a great time for the community of Bedford to interact with members of the department, friends and neighbors. The community is welcome to attend. Get a table for you and your family and friends, have a great time, dance, eat and socialize while serving a great cause.
