At Nov. 8 event, students will be hosting booths representing nearly 40 community businesses.

Bedford High School will be hosting a small business expo at the school next month so that more members of the community can learn about local Bedford businesses and companies.
The event will be held on Nov. 8, 2015, in the BHS Gym from noon to 2 p.m., according to organizers, and is free and to the public.
There will be 38 student-run booths representing different companies from the Bedford/Manchester area.

The expo is a class project for Marketing I students at Bedford High, and provides the students with an authentic marketing experience with an aim to promote local small businesses. These Marketing students have dedicated a large summation of their time and effort to learn about and promote these companies and are eager to engage with the Bedford community at the Expo.
“The Small Business Expo is a great way for students to get real world, hands on marketing experience in the classroom,” according to marketing teacher Christina Wilczewski. “I’m thrilled so many local businesses agreed to participate in the event. We hope to make this an annual tradition at Bedford High School.” Wilczewski worked for 20 years as a marketing professional before becoming a Business Teacher and has participated in dozens of expos and trade shows throughout her career.”
