Bedford Man Arrested For DWI On Hooksett Road
Roland Raiche was arrested this morning after allegedly sitting in a running vehicle with its lights on and fresh damage.

HOOKSETT, NH — A local man was arrested this morning after being found by police allegedly intoxicated sitting in a running vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business, according to a press statement. Roland Raiche, 46, of Bedford, was arrested on July 9, 2017, on a single driving while intoxicated charge. At around 2 a.m. this morning, an officer reportedly saw a Ford Taurus parked at the Sunoco gas station on Hooksett Road, according to Sgt. David Scarpino of the Hooksett Police Department.

“The business was not open at that time and the vehicle was running with its lights on,” Scarpino alleged. “The vehicle had fresh damage to its passenger from tire.”

Scarpino alleged that Raiche was under the influence of alcohol. At first, he reportedly agreed to participate in a field sobriety test but then, allegedly refused and was arrested.
Raiche was processed and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on July 19.
