Bedford Pack 5 Cub Scouts Earn Award at Chuckwagon Derby

Bedford Pack 5 Cub Scouts recently attended the Boy Scouts of America Daniel Webster Council Chuckwagon Derby on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at Camp Carpenter in Manchester, New Hampshire. This year's theme was "Pirates of the Caribbean" and the Cub Scouts dressed accordingly donning their best pirate hats, eye patches, sashes and swords. During the day long event, the Scouts worked together to pull the Pack's decorated Chuckwagon to various stations throughout the Camp where they then had to demonstrate their Scouting knowledge, skills and spirit to earn points towards awards. Pack 5 is extremely proud of its 2017 Chuckwagon Team who achieved an award for BB Gun Safety.
