Ross A. Lurgio Middle School released students early; Bedford High School students were dismissed at the regular time.

BEDFORD, NH - Capt. Daniel Douidi of the Bedford Police Department reported this afternoon that the department is "investigating numerous threats made against Bedford schools" on May 19, 2016.
Police do not believe the threats are credible, but several steps are being taken this afternoon out of an abundance of caution, according to an alert.
At approximately 12:45 p.m., Bedford Police responded to both Bedford High School and the Ross A. Lurgio Middle School to conduct searches of both buildings and confirm the sites were safe. Students were evacuated from the schools during the process. Lurgio Middle School students have already been dismissed for the day.
