"The vandalism of street signs and other property is a quality of life issue that costs taxpayer money to repair," said Chief John Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department in a statement. "Above that, defacing or damaging a stop sign creates a potentially dangerous situation for motorists. We will aggressively pursue those responsible."
Police believe all vandalism occurred sometime after 9 p.m. Saturday night. Anyone with any information about the vandalism is urged to contact the Bedford Police Department at 603-472-5113.
