Bedford Police Seek Tips After Bullet Strikes Pulpit Road Home

Cops are eyeing a report of a shooting and would like to speak to anyone in the area of Pulpit Road between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

BEDFORD, NH — Police in Bedford are asking for the public’s help in finding out why and how a bullet struck a home on Pulpit Road on Thursday.

Around 2:45 p.m., police were sent to a home on the road for a report of a small caliber bullet striking the house. Officers located the bullet and reported there were no injuries at the home.

Chief John J. Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department said whether the shooting was intentional or an errant round was unknown.

“This investigation is ongoing,” he said.

Anyone around Pulpit Road between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and who may have information relevant to this investigation is asked to call the Bedford Police Department at 603-472-5113.
