Bedford School Enrollments Up

Almost 40 students have entered the Bedford School District since the beginning of the school year, exceeding SAU #25 enrollment projections, the Union Leader reports. Superintendent Timothy Hayes tells the newspaper that the addition of 37 pupils brings current enrollment to a total of 4,455.

Bedford residents attend a number of non-public schools, including the Derryfield School, Bishop Guertin High School, and Bishop Brady High School.

An estimated 564 students attended non-public schools last year, a figure that includes 59 homeschoolers, according to the district's enrollment history and projections.
