Bedford Scout Collecting Worn American Flags

Jack McCahill's Eagle Scout project is to build a flag repository at the transfer station. He and troops are collecting flags this weekend.

BEDFORD, NH - Jack McCahill, a Boy Scout in Bedford Troop 414, is completing his Eagle Scout project, which is to build an American flag repository to be placed at the Bedford Town Transfer Station next week.

He and his troop are conducting a flag drive to collect worn American flags in Bedford from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

Any Bedford resident who has a flag they would like to have picked up should email BedfordFlagPickup@gmail.com with their address by the evening of Saturday, June 11.

All flags to be picked up should be left in a bag hanging from the mailbox.
